Selected Artworks, Painting Series and Projects

This page brings together a selection of artworks, painting series, and ongoing projects that reflect my broader artistic practice. My work explores memory, disappearance, and the fragile traces that gestures leave behind. Through cyanotype, egg tempera, handmade pigments, and layered writing, I create paintings where presence and absence coexist on the same surface.

Across different series, I investigate how the body becomes both a record and an erasure. In Memory and Forgetfulness, figures dissolve into washed layers of pigment and writing, leaving only fragments behind. In Traces, gestures become fleeting marks that fade into the cyanotype ground, shaped by childhood impressions and philosophical reflections on impermanence. In Reliquiary, hand made colours and egg tempera are used to build intimate surfaces where light and memory accumulate in thin layers.

Sustainability is central to my practice. I work primarily with recycled fabrics, jute, and cotton, preparing my own grounds and pigments using traditional methods. This approach connects material research with a deeper reflection on the physical residue of experience and the environmental impact of contemporary painting.

Alongside individual artworks, this page also includes collaborative and cross disciplinary projects. These works expand my research into new forms, such as installation, sculpture, and collective practice. Since 2025 I have been part of Naked Ashes, a collective exploring ritual, memory, and the body through sculpture, painting, and performance.

The aim of this page is to offer a clear overview of my practice and the different paths my research takes. Each series represents a specific investigation, but they share a focus on materiality, memory, and the tension between what remains and what disappears.
