Reliquiary Serie - Tempera and Egg Tempera - 2020/21
Reliquiary is a series of paintings created with tempera and egg tempera, exploring themes of fragility, spiritual residue, and self-imposed limitations. Central to the work is the motif of the arch — a symbol of structure that leads nowhere, pointing to absences and illusions we construct around belief and identity. The paintings evoke religious iconography, referencing Catholic tradition not as devotion, but as a mirror to the endurance of symbolic forms. Displayed between glass plates and without stretchers, the works remain physically and conceptually exposed — relics without sanctuaries.
